Welcome to the New Redbridge Wind Orchestra website, a self-financing amateur group that rehearses and gives several concerts each year in the London Borough of Redbridge and it's environs.

The orchestra was established in 1996 and currently numbers around 60 players of all ages and from all walks of life, who come together each week to make music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our aim is to deliver concerts of a high musical standard but to have fun and enjoy our music-making along the way. The orchestra's repertoire is varied, with something to suit most musical tastes, including arrangements of well-known classical, popular pieces and music from stage and screen, as well as works composed especially for the wind band medium.

We are always keen to welcome new members of approximately Associated Board Grade V standard and above, who are interested in developing their musical interests in this direction. If you learned a musical instrument at school but have failed to find an adult outlet for your talent since leaving, you will be assured of a warm welcome at the NRWO.

On this website, you will find photographs, details of recent and future concerts, rehearsal times, venues and contact telephone numbers. Whether you are interested in joining the orchestra or simply want to come along to one of our concerts, we look forward to hearing from you.
